As a wedding photographer based in Glasgow, Scotland, I've had the privilege of capturing many beautiful moments in my career. Each wedding is unique and special, but there are some that truly stand out. Megan and Aidan's wedding at Monkton House, a stunning venue just 20 minutes away from Edinburgh, was one such occasion. I also go to join forces with my favorite wedding videographer mate Dean Johnstone for this day and we always have a great time working as a team.

A Glimpse into Megan and Aidan's Love Story

Megan and Aidan, a gorgeous couple hailing from Canada, decided to embark on an intimate journey at Monkton House. Their love story was filled with adventure, and they wanted their wedding day to reflect just that.

In their own words, Megan and Aidan shared their excitement about their special day: "We booked a party bus to tour around Edinburgh, have an outdoor ceremony, and our family flew over from Canada. It's going to be a very intimate and quiet ceremony with our closest family and friends."

The morning was kept calm with the groom and his best men getting ready together and exchanging stunning film inspired tie pins. In the mermaid room it was just Megan had her sisters who attended to Megans makeup and hair and kept the atmosphere fun and light hearted. The closeness of these sisters was so beautiful and now major sister goals for my own daughters!
