Simple Love For Stories, Romance And Fantasy.
Sixteen years ago, way before AI and long before I ever photographed weddings or ran a full-time business, I started creating something that would become the heart of my work: A Scottish Fairytale Series. What began as a spontaneous, slightly wild idea one snowy winter has now grown into a magical adventure that people travel halfway across the world to be part of.

It All Began In January 2011.
Snow Was Falling Thick Across The Highlands, And Instead Of Staying Cosy At Home Like Any Sensible Person, I Decided To Brave The Elements And Drive Up To Glencoe Armed With An Old Camera, A Model, A Handful Of Dresses, An Assistant (Who Was Also My Incredibly Patient Friend!), And A Big Imagination.
We Didn’t Really Know What We Were Doing, Only That We Wanted To Create Something Beautiful, Something Cinematic, Something That Felt Like A Fairytale Rooted In Scotland’s Dramatic, Romantic Landscapes.
And That Day Turned Into The Beginning Of A Series I’ve Now Been Shooting For Sixteen Years.

Every Year Since, I’ve Put Together Photoshoots Based Loosely On Classic Fairytales, Scottish Folklore, And Whimsical Stories Dreamed Up During Long Drives Or Windy Hilltops. It’s Always Been Something I’ve Done Purely For The Love Of It , The Very Reason I Picked Up A Camera In The First Place. I Wanted To Create Fantasy Worlds, To Bring Imagination To Life, And To Show Scotland In The Way I’ve Always Seen It: Enchanting, Moody, Powerful, And Full Of Magic.

What Started As A Fun Idea With Friends In Glencoe Has Grown Into A Full Fairytale Experience So Much So That People Now Fly Over From The United States To Book Their Own Fantasy Photoshoots With Me. They Come For Kilts And Forests, Dramatic Castles, Swords, Moody Lochs, And The Chance To Step Into Their Own Piece Of Scottish Mythology.

I like old movies and new friends. I'm a hopeless romantic, my favourite movies are Gone with the Wind and pretty much most films directed by Baz Luhrmann. I was brought up on alot of Disney which is most likely where my happily ever after streak has grown from! I am a huge animal lover and have an unhealthy obsession with anything pirate themed and Audrey Hepburn.
